[Tip] Play Hidden Secret Ninjacat Surf Game in Microsoft Edge

Today in this article, we are going to tell you about a hidden secret game called “Let’s Surf” in Microsoft Edge web browser. You can reveal this secret game in your browser and play it using your keyboard. Microsoft’s new web browser Microsoft Edge comes with this hidden secret “Surf” game built-in. The game can be accessed and enjoyed in all versions whether it’s Stable version or a testing version such as Beta, Developer or Canary.

You can consider this game as an Easter egg which can be accessed in following 2 ways:

• Using a direct URL in the address bar
• Using a secret Easter egg method which you’ll enjoy the most

Let’s discuss the methods in details:

METHOD 1: Reveal Surf Game Using Direct URL

Type following URL in Microsoft Edge address bar and press Enter:

edge://surf

That’s it. It’ll launch the secret Surf game.

METHOD 2: Using Easter Egg Method (Long Way)

This is the old method to reveal the Surf game which was actually an Easter egg in older Microsoft Edge versions. At that time, the game was not accessible using edge://surf URL and users needed to follow certain steps to reveal the game.

You can learn about those steps below:

1. Open any website in Microsoft Edge.

2. Now click on Collections button (+ icon) present in the toolbar and then click on “Start new collection” button. Set its name as Microsoft Edge

3. Now click on “Add current page” button to add the current webpage to the collection.

4. Right-click on the added page in Collections and select Edit option. Change the page name to S and click on Save button.

5. Repeat steps 3-4 three times to add the current page to collection 3 more times. Now change their names to U, R and F respectively.

Now you’ll have 4 items named as S, U, R and F in collection.

6. Now drag-n-drop F item before R to make the spelling SUFR. Again drag-n-drop F item to the end to make the correct spelling SURF.

That’s it. It’ll immediately add new SURF game item to the collection.

You can click on the Surf game item to start the game.

How to Play Surf Game in Microsoft Edge?

You can press Space bar key to start the game. You can also use Left and Right arrow keys to select your gaming character before starting the game.

You can use Left, Right, Up and Down arrow keys or W, A, S, D keys to move the character or stop the character at current position.

There is also a Hamburger (3-lines) menu is given at the top-right corner of the game screen to change Game settings. You can change Game Mode to Let’s Surf, Time Trial or Zig Zag.

You can also turn on/off “High visibility mode” and “Reduced speed mode” options.

You can press Ctrl+R keys anytime to restart the game.

BONUS TIP: Reveal Secret Ninjacat Character in Surf Game
