Today in this topic, we are going to share a hidden secret Easter egg present in the popular Google Chrome web browser. You can play an addictive Dinosaur (T-Rex) game in your Chrome browser without installing any extra app or extension. The best thing is that you don’t need Internet connection to play this game. You can enjoy the game when you have no Internet connection.

This secret Dinosaur game can be played in both computers as well as mobile phones. So if you are using Chrome browser in your computer or smartphone, you can enjoy this hidden secret game.

Recently a few readers asked us how to play this secret game in newer versions of Chrome browser specially in mobile phones, so we decided to create this separate article to discuss this Easter egg in details.

STEP 1: Revealing the Hidden Secret Dinosaur Game

First of all open Chrome in your computer or mobile phone. Now there are 2 methods to reveal this Easter egg.

METHOD 1:

Turn off/disconnect Internet in your device. If you are using computer, disconnect the Internet connection. If you are using mobile phone, turn off mobile data/wi-fi, etc. We need to completely disconnect our device from Internet to reveal this hidden secret game.

After disconnecting Internet, open any website in Chrome such as google.com and you’ll get No Internet error page.

METHOD 2:

It’s the simplest way to reveal the secret game. You don’t need to disconnect the Internet. Just type chrome://dino in address bar of Chrome and press Enter or click/tap on Go button. You’ll get No Internet error page even if you are connected to the Internet.

STEP 2: Playing Dinosaur Game

Now on No Internet page, you’ll notice a small Dinosaur image shown above the error message. That’s the important part and key to reveal the hidden secret Easter egg.

If you are using a computer, press Space bar key on your keyboard.

If you are using a smartphone, tap on Dinosaur image.

That’s it. You have successfully revealed the hidden secret Easter egg. The built-in Dinosaur game will start and you can start playing the game in Chrome.

You can jump Dinosaur using Space bar key on computers or using a tap on smartphones.

It’s an endless game and runs as long as you survive.

BONUS TIP:

If you launch the game using chrome://dino URL, Chrome launches the game in full screen mode.
