[Tip] Enable Dark Mode UI on All Websites in Chrome on Android Mobile Phones
Almost all websites on Internet use White or light backgrounds and color scheme so that the articles text can look bright and clear to visitors. Although it looks clean but at night time, people find it difficult to read text displayed on bright or White background colors.
That’s why many people prefer dark or Black UI which is comfortable on eyes specially at night time. Now-a-days many software and operating systems provide dark mode or night mode feature which allows users to enable dark themes in software. For example, Windows 10 comes with dark mode, web browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Microsoft Edge all come with built-in dark mode.

Today in this article, we’ll tell you how to enable dark mode UI on all websites which you visit in Chrome on Android. Chrome app comes with a secret feature which can be used to activate and apply dark mode on every website. It doesn’t matter whether a website supports or provides dark mode or not, Chrome can convert all websites UI into dark mode for you.

If you also want to enjoy all websites in dark mode in Chrome app in all Android smartphones, following steps will help you:
STEP 1:

First of all make sure you are using latest version of Chrome app. You must be using Chrome 74 or later version to be able to enjoy this hidden secret trick.
STEP 2:
Open Chrome and type chrome://flags in address bar and tap on Go. It’ll open Chrome Experiments page where you can turn on/off several features.
Now type Dark in Search flags box and it’ll show following result:

#enable-android-web-contents-dark-mode
Tap on the “Default” drop-down box and select “Enabled” option from the list.
Chrome will ask you to restart the browser. Click on “Relaunch Now” button to relaunch Google Chrome.
That’s it. Now open any website in Chrome and you’ll find that all websites will open in dark mode.
PS:
If you want to disable dark mode on websites in future, reset “Android web contents dark mode” flag to Default in Chrome://flags page.
