[Windows 10 Tip] Ask for Sign-in Password When PC Wakes up from Sleep

Recently one AskVG reader asked us how to force Windows 10 to ask for password when the PC wakes up from sleep. Whenever he puts the laptop to sleep and wakes it up later, it wakes up unlocked, no login screen was shown. The reader wanted it locked.

In previous Windows versions there were many places to enable the option to ask password upon PC wake up but in newer Windows 10 versions, the options have been either removed or moved to some other places. That’s why people face difficulties in finding these basic options.

If you are also using Windows 10 and want to enable or disable password requirement upon PC wake up, this tutorial will help you.
