[Fix] 4G Internet Connection Not Working in Mobile Phone
Now-a-days everyone uses 4G Internet connection in mobile phone. We use WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and browse websites using high-speed 4G connection.
But sometimes the 4G Internet doesn’t work in mobile phone. Suddenly the mobile phone stops connecting to Internet and there is no Internet connectivity in mobile phone. Even the notification bar/status bar doesn’t now any 4G/3G(H/H+) or 2G(E) symbol which means there is no Internet connection in your mobile phone.

I have been facing this problem since a few days on Airtel network. Although I get great 4G speed on my smartphone but sometimes the Internet connection is lost and my phone doesn’t connect to Internet although the network signals are strong and everything else such as calls, etc is working fine.
Today in this tutorial, I’ll try to point out what troubleshooting steps should you use if you face similar problem in your mobile phone:

SOLUTION 1: Switch to 2G and then Switch Back to 4G
That’s the 100% working solution which always works for me.
1. Open Settings in your mobile phone. Go to Connections -> Mobile Networks section.
2. Tap on Network Mode and select 2G only. Wait for a few seconds and your mobile phone will switch to 2G network.
3. Now again tap on Network Mode and select LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) option.

That’s it. Now 4G Internet will start working again in your mobile phone.
PS: Option names and location may differ in different brand mobile phones. You can search for the option using the search box given on Settings page.
SOLUTION 2: Manually Select Network
Sometimes manually selecting network operator also fixes this issue.
1. Open Settings in your mobile phone. Go to Connections -> Mobile Networks section.
2. Tap on Network Operators and tap on “Search Networks” option. If you get any confirmation, tap on OK.
3. It’ll take some seconds and will show you a list of all available networks. Select the correct mobile operator from the list.
It may also fix the issue.
SOLUTION 3: Reset APN Settings
You can also try to reset APN (Access Point Names) settings in your mobile phone.
1. Open Settings in your mobile phone. Go to Connections -> Mobile Networks section.
2. Tap on Access Point Names and it’ll show the existing APN entries.
3. Tap on the 3-dots menu and select “Reset to default” option.
Now check it should fix the Internet connection issue.
SOLUTION 4: Download Correct APN Settings
Every network provider provides their APN settings for download. You can ask their customer care or search on their website for correct APN settings.
You can enter the correct APN settings using “Settings -> Connections -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names” page. Tap on “ADD” button and manually enter the provided settings.
SOLUTION 5: Reset the Phone
There might also be a problem in your mobile phone. You can try to reset the phone but remember it’ll restore all settings to factory defaults.
SOLUTION 6: Call Customer Care
If nothing helps, then you should contact customer care as there might be some network issue in your area. They’ll visit your area and fix the issue.
