Even if you are using a Light theme mode in Windows or other operating systems, Opera One uses the Dark theme. There are many eye candy effects such as animations, shadows, etc while navigating through various elements in the web browser.

The tab design has been changed to disconnected or floating rounded tabs similar to Mozilla Firefox tabs UI. The same rounded tab design is also being developed in Microsoft Edge web browser.
