Voilla. You’ll have the classic System Properties opened in the same window. It was so easy to launch classic System Properties in Windows 10 newer versions.
Actually when you click on System icon in Control Panel, Windows 10 uses the “Open in new window” option as default for it and launches new modern About Settings page. But if you right-click on System icon and select Open option, it launches classic System Properties in the same window.
BONUS TIP:
You can also right-click on System icon and select “Create shortcut” option. Windows will show a message that “Windows can’t create a shortcut here. Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?”, click on Yes button and it’ll automatically create a direct shortcut to classic System Properties on Desktop.
Now you can use this shortcut to launch classic System Properties any time. You can also pin the shortcut to Taskbar or Start Menu for quick and easy access.
