[Tip] Play Hidden Secret “Cloud” Game in Google Search App in Your Mobile Phone (No Internet Required)

Today in this article, we are going to talk about a hidden secret game or Easter egg present in Google Search box widget or Google app present in your Android smartphone. You can reveal or activate this hidden game when you have no Internet connection (offline) in your phone and play the game to pass your time.

Two years back, we posted an article about a hidden secret game called “Dinosaur or T-Rex” present in Chrome app in Android mobile phones as well as computers. The secret game can be enabled and played in Chrome browser when there is no Internet connection present i.e. when your device is offline.

Now in this article, we are going to share information about a similar No Internet or offline game which can be activated and played using the default Google app or Search box widget which come preinstalled in all Android mobile phones.

You can play a hidden secret “Cloud” game (I prefer Cloud with Umbrella name) in Google app in any Android smartphone whether it’s a Samsung phone or Google Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Motorola, etc. Brand doesn’t matter. Almost all Android smartphones come with Google app bundled, so you can enjoy this trick in almost all Android smartphones.

It’s a No Internet game which means you’ll need to disconnect from Internet i.e. turn off Mobile Data, Wi-Fi and you’ll be able to play the game.

Following screenshot shows the secret game activated in our Android smartphone:

If you also want to enjoy the secret game in your Android mobile phone, following simple steps will help you:

1. First of all turn off Internet connection in your Android mobile phone. If you use mobile data, turn it off. If you use a Wi-Fi connection, turn off Wi-Fi feature.

2. After disconnecting from Internet, do any of following things:

a. If you have Google Search box widget present on home screen, tap inside it to type text.

b. If you don’t have Google Search box on home screen, open App Launcher by swiping up on home screen and look for Google app. Once you find the Google app present in App Drawer screen, tap on it to launch the app.

PS: You can manually download and install Google app from Play Store if you can’t find the app in your smartphone.

3. Now type anything inside the Google Search box. The text doesn’t matter as the Internet connection is off and Google app is going to display No Internet connection error page which we actually need to reveal and play the secret Easter egg game.

As soon as you type anything inside Google Search box and tap on Search icon, Google app will show No data connection or No network available error message.

Now you’ll see an animated Cloud icon or image thumbnail near the error message as shown in following screenshot:

4. Tap on the cloud image and congratulations. You have revealed the hidden secret game.

Now you can start playing the full screen game by tapping on the screen to save the cloud from obstacles such as other angry birds, clouds, etc.

The game is quite similar to popular Flappy Bird game or the Easter egg which was present in Google Android 5.0 and 6.0 versions.

It’s a good time pass game and the best thing is that it doesn’t require Internet connection to play.
