Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered chatbot released by Microsoft. If you use a Windows device, you might be aware of Windows Copilot feature introduced in newer versions of Windows 11 operating system. Microsoft launched Windows Copilot to replace Cortana digital assistant in Windows operating system.

Microsoft Copilot is a similar centralized AI (Artificial Intelligence) assistant which provides several AI-powered features and services to users. Copilot has been developed using Microsoft Prometheus model, which is powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4 language model.

According to Microsoft, Copilot is a new AI-based chat assistant for mobile phones. It is powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL-E 3. With the help of these advanced AI technologies, Copilot app provides faster and precise responses, as well as creates breathtaking visuals from simple text descriptions.

The new Copilot app looks similar to previous Bing chat app released by Microsoft. Users can ask questions, create images, compose emails, build resume, write program codes or play games using the Copilot app.

Copilot app provides a toggle option on the main home screen to enable or disable GPT-4 AI features. Although users are required a Microsoft Account to use Copilot app but you can access and use limited features without sign-in.

Copilot app supports both light and dark theme interface and follows the system theme selected in user’s mobile phone. You can switch between light and dark UI using Copilot Settings page which provides many other options to customize such as changing the region/country and adjusting privacy settings.

Currently Copilot app is only available for Android platform but in future Microsoft might release the app for iOS platform as well.
