If you want to import and add all your favorite websites RSS feeds at once in Vivaldi browser’s Feed Reader tool, this article will help you.

Vivaldi web browser comes with a built-in RSS Feed Reader feature which allows users to add their favorite websites RSS feeds to stay updated. By default, the Feed Reader tool is disabled and interested users need to manually activate and enable it using Vivaldi Settings as mentioned in following article:

The built-in RSS Feed Reader tool is currently under development and testing phase, that’s why it comes with many limitations and missing features. One of these missing features is the ability to import all RSS feeds at once.

When you open Vivaldi Feed Reader app, you get only 2 buttons: Refresh feeds and Add a new feed.

If you are already using a 3rd party RSS Feed Reader software and now want to switch to Vivaldi Feed Reader, you’ll need to manually add all your favorite sites feeds one by one which will require lots of time and might annoy you.

I found myself in the same situation. I was using QuiteRSS program since long time. Recently I decided to give a try to Vivaldi Feed Reader and found this huge restriction.

While checking Vivaldi Settings and options, I found a built-in way to import all feeds at once.

Actually Vivaldi browser comes with built-in functionality to import all RSS feeds using an OPML (feeds backup) file but the option is not given inside Feed Reader tool. The option is present inside FILE menu.

5. Vivaldi will show a list of all RSS feeds present inside the OPML file. You can customize the feed name, URL and synchronization timing.

Click on “Add Feeds” button and Vivaldi will immediately start adding all RSS feeds in its Feed Reader tool.

Press ESC key or click outside the import fly-out and you’ll see all your favorite websites RSS feeds added to Vivaldi Feed Reader window.

You can delete unwanted RSS feed by selecting the feed and pressing Delete key or right-clicking on the feed and selecting Delete option.

PS: There is another big limitation present in Vivaldi Feed Reader which is “Mark as read” option. There should be an option to set a news as read upon feed change or selecting the news item.
