[Tip] Enable Hidden Mail, RSS Feed Reader and Calendar in Vivaldi Web Browser
If you use Vivaldi web browser in your computer system, here is an interesting and useful tip for you. Did you know Vivaldi browser comes with some hidden secret features such as built-in Email client, RSS Feed reader and Calendar? All these features are disabled by default, that’s why you don’t see them in the browser.
In this tutorial, we’ll tell you how to manually activate and enable Mail, RSS Feed Reader and Calendar features in Vivaldi web browser.
Following screenshot shows these new features activated and enabled in public Stable version of Vivaldi browser:

All these features are under development, so you can face bugs and issues while using these features. This is the reason, Vivaldi team has not enabled these features for all.
Vivaldi team has provided a hidden preference/flag to manually turn on these features so that interested users can test the new features.
The features and the UI are quite similar to the good ol’ Opera Mail software which has been discontinued long time back.
If you also use Vivaldi web browser, following steps will help you in activating and enabling built-in Mail, RSS Feed Reader and Calendar functionality inside the browser:
1. Open Vivaldi browser and type following URL in the address bar:
vivaldi://experiments/

Press Enter key and it’ll open secret Experimental features page in the browser where advanced users can turn on/off exclusive features.
UPDATE: In newer versions of Vivaldi browser, you’ll need to open Vivaldi Settings page (Ctrl+F12) and under General tab or section, scroll down to bottom to “Productivity Features” option.
2. Now you’ll see following option present on the page:
Enable Mail, Calendar and Feeds.
Enables Calendar, Mail & Feeds. Requires a restart of Vivaldi to be active.
3. Enable the option and restart Vivaldi browser.
That’s it. You have successfully turned on Mail, RSS Feed Reader and Calendar components in Vivaldi browser.
Now you can start using the new features by clicking on their icons in Vivaldi left sidebar or using View menu.
You can add your email account and start using the Mail feature, add websites RSS feeds in RSS feed reader or create tasks/schedules/reminders using Calendar tool.
The Mail app supports POP3 and IMAP and Calendar supports CalDav services.
PS: To disable or remove all new features, simply uncheck the Calendar, Mail & Feeds option using vivaldi://experiments/ page and restart the browser.
