Sometimes people press F12 key instead of F11 key and it launches Developer Tools sidebar in their web browser. It becomes very annoying if happens frequently.
To fix this annoyance, Microsoft has added a new option to Microsoft Edge (version 89 and later) settings which can be modified to turn on or off F12 keyboard shortcut to launch Developer Tools.

Just wish I had known this earlier. It is such a PITA. Very often I hit F12 instead of Backspace. I am not the most dexterous typist.
