  1. This idea is not very good because most of users has limited internet plans, I think only good idea to download ISO file using any trusted download manager, now latest download manager software can refresh expired download link and resume download later if any users has limited plans or limited speed.

  2. Hello VG. I have a very strange issue since the last two releases of Windows 10 especially the latest 2004 version. I don’t know how to contact Microsoft or post an issue to them. So I decided since you’re MVP, why not post it here.
    This issue concerns many users who are also my friends with similarity to my own. OK here goes;

    The problem are the USB ports in my desktop PC (Same thing applies to my friends desktop PC). All or most of my USB flash drives and also my USB portable drive are giving me errors or not opening at all in Windows 10 2004 version.
    I tried all the different USB ports and to no avail. I went to an older version of Windows 10 version 1709 & 1809 and voila they’re all working. I also went to a windows 7 and they’re all working. I have Windows XP on an older machine and all my Flash Drives are working flawless.

    I did a search Online and one website mentioned to go in Device Manager/USB Root Hub double click and in the Power Management tab uncheck ” Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
    I tried it and still, it persists. Please will you look into it and see if there is a fix for this. Thanks in advance.

  3. ^^ It sounds like a driver problem. Try to uninstall/remove USB device using Device Manager and then refresh devices list. Windows should reinstall required driver.

    You can also check on Windows Update for updated drivers or check your PC manufacturer website.

  4. Hello VG, from my last topic on the USB ports on Windows 10…
    I believe that the issue is Windows Defender Anti Virus is causing the issue.
    I disable the Windows Defender Anti Virus in the taskbar near the clock by opening and temporarily shut off all features…Just keep in mind to do it before inserting any USB device like Flash drives, Portable HDD etc.
    After disabling Windows opened up my Flash Drives and Portable HDD without an issue.
    Just thought to inform you and all others who visit here.
