I'm glad to announce my new theme "Vista Black" for Windows Vista.
I have created this theme for "Windows Vista Basic" users who can't use "Aero" in their systems and are forced to use the Vista Basic theme. I have tried to make it similar to Vista Aero theme.
NOTE: It'll apply the Aero theme by default. If you want to use the "basic" version which I made specially, then change it from "Windows Color and Appearance -> Open classic appearance properties for more color options" and select the Basic version from the list and then apply.

WOW, I love this!
I just need help installing it.
I downloaded it, and installed it, but the black won't show. I got to %windir%\Resources\Themes\, but I can't find the .rar file that came with the theme to put it there.
PLEASE help, because I really want this for my new computer.

The .RAR file will be downloaded to your default folder where other files are downloaded. Look where it has been downloaded and then extract it in "%windir%\Resources\Themes" folder.

hi i downloaded vista glazz and alao patched the files , but i still not able to apply new themes in windows vista. i tried to copy the winstyle in %windir%\resources\themes. but i i am not ale to extract files direct to %windir%\resources. so plz kindly advice me i really need all these themes to be applied on my new pc ..

^^ Take ownership of "resources" folder. Look for "Take ownership" article in Windows Vista section.

Hello VG,
The problem is not the wallpaper. I'm talking about the windows borders which always stay blue unless I turn to Vista Aero, choose black and turn off transparency. All I want is to use Vista Basic with «everything black», just like the picture in the top of this page. If it helps I can send you a «print secreen» of my desktop
