Download New Windows 7 Beta Boot Screen for Windows XP and Vista

As we all know that Windows 7 beta contains a new animated boot screen which shows animated items/balls that come together to form Windows logo.

If you want to enjoy the same boot screen in Windows XP or Vista, then here is a good news for you. "killer7ben" and "TSR-Pr" have created boot screens for Windows XP and Vista which look very similar to Windows 7 boot screen.

You can download the boot screens using following links:

You'll need "Tuneup Utilities" to apply these boot screens.

NOTE: The above boot screens are not animated.

  1. low quality for windows xp :(

  2. Aw. Why can't they ever come up with an animated one? Can't complain, at least we go one! :)

  3. Is it possible to make a standalone one (ntoskrnl.exe) I mean without the use of Tuneup Utilities??

I tried via resource hacker but it all went wrong [and its a long story :D ].

  4. It looks good and i think there will be something intresting if you dig long into vista

  5. It would be great if somebody could make a ntoskrnl.exe version of this instead of this TuneUp stuff.

  6. Hey Vishal, thanks for mentioning my bootscreen for XP!
Also, guys, sorry I know the quality is very poor, but I'm trying to improve it at the moment.
Keep watching at tsr-pr.deviantart.com until the update is finally released! :D

Also, animated is not possible at the moment, boot I think the bootscreen can support .gif files, so until then, the boot screen will be unanimated.

    Thanks, guys :)

  7. do you want a gif file i have one!

  8. Well TSR-Pr it's not your fault, I think it's in 256 colours mode or something while it's booting up, and it's badly dithered to boot(pardon the pun).

  9. That is a really nice Boot Screen, by the way this is a nice start of the year

  10. I need help on drivers for Windows 7...
