[Tip] Download All Flickr Photos and Videos in Bulk

In April 2018, the popular photo hosting website “Flickr” was acquired by SmugMug from Yahoo! and recently SmugMug announced that all free accounts of Flickr will get some limitation and restrictions on usage of server space to store their photographs and videos.

Starting from February 05, 2019, all free Flickr accounts will be able to store only 1000 photos or videos. Currently all free Flickr account holders get 1 TB storage space to save their photos. Many free Flickr account users are having thousands of photos stored in their Flickr accounts. But starting from Feb 5, 2019, they’ll be able to keep only one thousand photos in their account.

If a free Flickr account user has more than 1000 photos in account, the extra photos will be automatically deleted from the account starting from oldest to newest date uploaded.

If you also have more than 1000 photos in your free Flickr account, you may worry about this change. Starting Feb 2019, Flickr will remove extra photos automatically from your account. So it’ll be a wise idea to immediately take a backup of all your Flickr photos on your computer.

Today in this tutorial, we’ll tell you how to download all Flickr photos and videos in bulk so that you can have a full backup of all your Flickr account photos on your PC. Once you download all Flickr photos, you’ll have no worries about automatic removal of photos from your Flickr account if you have 1000+ photos stored in your Flickr account.

Remember you can download your existing photos and videos from Flickr till January 08, 2019 only.

There are 2 ways to download all Flickr photos and albums at once:

METHOD 1: Using Camera Roll Feature

1. Open Flickr website, login to your account and click on You -> Camera Roll option.

Alternatively, you can check your email account Inbox and a new email from Flickr will appear containing a download link to download zip file of all Flickr photos.
