This new theme is a black version of my recently released theme "VistaVG". Its also a Windows XP port of my "Vista Black Theme for Vista".

Download Link:
You can download the theme using following link:
Make Windows XP look-like Windows Vista
How to Install and Use:
1. Once you download the file, extract it. You'll get a folder.
2. In this folder, you'll get 2 more folders:
- Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Copy them to "%windir%\Fonts" folder.)
- Theme (This folder contains the main theme.)
3. Download and run UXTheme patcher using following topic:
How to Install & Use Themes in Windows?
4. Copy all contents in "Theme" folder to "%windir%\Resources\Themes\" folder and apply the theme using Desktop Properties.
NOTE: In the above step, %windir% means C:\Windows\ folder. We assume that Windows is installed in C: drive in your system. If you installed Windows in some other drive, replace C: with the appropriate drive letter.

Hey!
Love your work.
About the patch thing... can you explain it better? I don't want to hunt down my XP CD, can I continue without it?
Also, please make a ZIP copy of your files so more people can use them.
VG
^^ You can use the patcher without any problem. Without patching the files, you can't use 3rd party themes. Or you can use Tuneup Utilities to easily apply themes.

VG
^^ You can check it using System properties.

o, thanks man. i am trying to install it, but i installed a patch and i double click on the icon (because i downloaded to the desktop) and windows said something that it is not recommended to keep using it something like that. i m scared because i read a comment saying that the patch messed up someones computer. thats why im asking. so, if i download the right one for my system i ll be able to use this theme with no prob? also, how much space in my disk do i need for this? i have pleny but i wanna make sure. Thanks man. Hey, ive seen all the comments you got regarding this theme. it is awesome. Ill use a common phrase we use here in Laredo, Texas (is the gateway to Mexico, thats why): "Te sacaste el dedo" it means you did a great job.

^^ There are 2 UXtheme patcher versions, one for SP2 and other for SP3. So make sure you use the correct version.
The theme doesnt take much space, only a few MB like 5-10 MB disk space is required, so don't worry about the disk space. :)
