In this tutorial, we'll tell you how to uninstall Windows 7 SP1 from your system if you are facing any problem after installing it:
There are 2 methods to uninstall SP1:
- Using Control Panel
- Using Command Prompt

Method 1: Using Control Panel
1. Open Control Panel and click on "Programs -> Uninstall a program" if you are using "Category" view.
If you are using "Icons" view, click on "Programs and Features" icon.
2. Now click on "View installed updates" link given in left sidebar.
3. Select the "Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB976932)" item in the given list and click on "Uninstall" button in the toolbar. You can also right-click on the update and select "Uninstall" option.
4. It'll ask for confirmation, click on "Yes" button.
That's it. It'll take some time and will uninstall SP1 from your system.
Method 2: Using Command Prompt

Thank you so much for posting this, I installed it today on my netbook and it booted correctly once, but now it won't even finish booting, it just sits on a black screen, so I'm going to try this with the command prompt in the W7 Installer disc, thanks bro.

Mr. Vishal, I've got a problem with Windows' 7 themes. Every time I change the theme it creates a new one named "Unsaved Theme" under "My Themes". How can I fix that?
VG
^^ Its a feature. You can delete it by right-click on it and select Delete option. Or simply save it by right-click on it and select Save theme.

^^You've got it wrong. Let's say I select the "Architecture" theme from the "Aero Themes". Instead of using that theme, Windows creates the same theme again under "My Themes" and names it "Unsaved Theme".
VG
^^ Try following solution:
1. Type appdata in RUn or startmenu search box and press Enter.
2. Now go to: Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes
Delete "Custom.theme" file. It should fix your problem.
