How to remove the header from Libraries folder in Windows 7 Explorer?
Actually its very simple but many Windows 7 users are not aware of it.
Windows 7 shows a header in Libraries folder which is called Library pane:

If you don't like it and want to remove it, simply use following steps:
1. Open Windows Explorer and go to any Library folder.
2. Now click on "Organize" menu in command bar and uncheck "Library pane" option from "Layout" menu.

3. That's it. It'll remove Library pane from Windows Explorer:

Simple. Isn't it?

And if you've used VG's registry hacks to remove Libraries from the Navigation pane, you don't have to worry about this at all... usually. :-) There are some apps (like Mozilla Firefox) that will still show all of the entries in the Navigation pane, even if you've used VG's registry hacks. In these cases, this trick will do the job.

Hi VG,
Can you please tell us an alternative (if there is one) to using the command bar (aka folder band) "organize" menu method?
Maybe there is a registry change that will have the same affect?
It's just that I already disabled my command bar via another one of your tutorials and it's a pain for me to re-enable it every time i want to do something involving the command bar.

Library are almost useless for most people. However, by removing them, there could be some issues with some Microsoft Software, that search for them. I remember that when I've removed them after found this way of removing somewhere on internet, some of my Gadgets have lost their functionality.

@Ryan
Almost all shortcuts present in Command bar can be accessed using Menubar. So press ALT key and access the option from Menubar.
