It seems Microsoft needs a lot of things to fix in Windows 7 before releasing the final version. Although MS developers are trying their best to make Windows 7 a perfect OS by fixing as much bugs as they can, still there are many bugs which have not been fixed yet.

Lots of bugs were inherited from Vista in earlier builds of Windows 7 but thankfully lots of them got fixed in later builds:

But following bug is still unfixed:

Windows Seven Classic Theme Bug

And now lets share a funny bug which was not present in Beta build but has been introduced in the latest 7057 build. The bug is related to Windows Media Player. Thanks to saeedsaf @ Joejoe forums for reporting this bug.

The bug appears when you minimize Windows Media Player in "Now Playing" mode and hover your mouse cursor over its taskbar button. The album art flips upside down which looks really funny:

I hope MS will fix this new bug in future builds.

  • stupid Microsoft
it is really a funny bug....

VG do you have the theme in the preview for xp??

  • VG

^^ Its default Windows 7 theme.

  • There is also another bug in windows WMP as well. Anyway, I think its a bug? Whenever I play music or open a film to watch, WMP player always opens very small in the top left hand corner of the monitor. It then has to be resized or maximised to get the full screen. I don't know if this is how windows 7 works with WMP or if it is a bug but it's highly annoying whatever the reason! With all the other Windows O/S's WMP just opened fully, whatever you were watching or listening to. Cheers! Mike
