Mr/Mrs,
Great link to go to for anyone who wants to download ‘Microsoft Security Essentials (Standalone Installer)’ and use.
Thanks,
FY
can its support service pk 2? plz answer me………
hey could u plz review the mse for windows 8, I m not talking about windows defender. Searching google for installing mse on windows 8 provided me with another tech geek on firstever.eu and I liked the concept it’s just that it’s unofficial. But the advantages were many right click scan option for file, folder and drives, notification in the taskbar and works just like the windows defender but better bcoz of its utility. so plz review it and tell if it’s safe?
@rkkdjb – There exist no version of MSE For Windows 8 … When you try to install using the installer , it says that a better version of MSE is built for Windows 8 – It’s Prebuilt called Windows Defender
@Addy , thanx for ur response but read my comment carefully, there is an uofficial release of mse and not wd for windows 8 go to firstever.eu and search there.
^^ Its not a wise idea to install any unofficial version of a security program. Better to stick with the built-in Windows Defender in Windows 8. Windows Defender in Windows 8 is actually MSE.
Hungarian to Windows XP (32-bit) .exe file is not installed on Windows XP
I downloaded the offline installer but when I ran it it threw up a popup declaring it wasn’t compatible to my system which is just XP service pack 3. What?
It’s wonderful antivirus for window and installed easily. Thanks MSE.
I thank you for providing us with an antivirus software.I believe it’s offered free and I’ll rely on your offer. Thanks again.
HELP! I am a NOVICE user. I have an HP Compaq Presario CQ5720 Desktop PC running Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit with IE11. I have been using MSE since it became available and never had any problems with it; until the day when I booted my pc and found that WINDOWS 10 had been installed and without my consent. Afterwards, I went back to my Windows 7 and since then my MSE has stopped starting when I boot and does not run in the background or show it’s castle icon in the notification area system tray. The only way I can get it to work is manually. How can I get it to work like it is suppose to? NOTE: I checked the version Wed. April 25, 2018, The MSE Anti-Malware version is: 4.10.209.0. Is this the correct version?
^^ I’ll advise you to first uninstall and then reinstall MSE.
