It was created by "RaulWindows"and now he has released an updated version of this login screen which allows you to choose between various Windows 7 versions.

Download the new updated login screen from following link:

More Info

After downloading, extract the ZIP file using WinZip, WinRAR or 7-zip and look for the "LogonUI.exe" file. That's the file which contains the login screen. You'll need to replace existing "logonui.exe" file present in "%windir%\System32" folder with this downloaded one. Use "Replacer" to replace the file which you can find in our "Downloads" section.

Or you can use Tuneup Utilities to easily apply the login screen which is very safe.

  1. When using this and another windows vista logonui the shutdown button only shows when I've just turned it on. But when I logon and then switch user or log off, then I can only see the fake arrow next to the shutdown button that isnt there anymore. I can still get to it by pressing 'tab' a few times, but it's a weird problem that I thought you might want to look at.

But also, how did you get your user picture so big in the preview at the top?
Is it just the same preview from the vista screen? Because I want my user images really big like that.
    Thanks again!

  6. Thats the same preview picture which was used for Vista login screen. In XP, it doesnt show big use picture.

  8. first of all, i just wanna say that this website is awsome!!! (my first reply XD)

i wanna ask, how can i change it back to the original xp login screen?

  9. ^^ If you applied it using Tuneup Utilities, then you can simply select the original Login screen from the list and apply it.

If you replaced the LogonUI.exe file, then restore the original file.

  10. i replaced the logonui.exe, so how can i restore the original files?

  11. ^^ Didnt you take a backup before replacing it? If not, then you can copy it from any other XP system or extract it from your Windows setup CD.

I'm running WIN XPPro, I applied the Login theme but I only get the "EN" icon in the
