If you use Mozilla Firefox, you might have noticed that it doesn't stream Windows Media Player files in websites. Many websites use Windows media files to show embedded videos but Firefox can't play them.
Now no need to worry! There is a way to enable WMP files streaming in Firefox.
Download and run following file:
Download WMP Plugin for Firefox
It'll install WMP plugin for Firefox and your Firefox will start streaming WMP files without any problem.
Now you can play and watch videos in websites. Enjoy...

Hi there.
I have installed the plugin, but when I open a site with a streaming Media Player, the FireFox (3.0.1) gets an error and restars :(

^^ I'm using the plug-in without any problem. Try to uninstall Firefox and then re-install it.

Don't work Windows media player plugin for Mozilla for Windows XP SP3?
It is necessary to find in the Internet file np-mswmp.dll and to put in Mozilla Plugin directory. Reload Mozilla.

Is there a 64bit native version of WMP Plugin for Firefox x64?
What I've seen is this works on 64bit WIndows, but using Firefox x86.
If I'm not wrong, the same happens with Shockwave, although Flash is already 64bit.
Thanks for any info you could provide.

"np-mswmp.dll" Didn''t work.
Also, I wanted to add that there's a 64bit Silverlight version which works with Firefox x64.
