[Windows 10 Tip] Pin Websites to Start Menu or Taskbar Using Microsoft Edge
Almost all of us have some favorite websites which we visit on regular basis. For quick and easy access, we add our favorite websites as bookmarks in our web browsers so that we don’t need to type the website URL every time we want to visit that website. We just click on the bookmark and the browser opens our favorite website.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could pin our favorite websites to Taskbar or Start Menu and whenever we need to open a website, just click on the pinned icon and Windows will open the website in the browser?
We have already told you in past how to pin websites to Taskbar and Start Menu using Google Chrome and Internet Explorer web browsers. Today in this tutorial, we’ll tell you how to pin websites to Start Menu or Taskbar using Microsoft Edge web browser?

Microsoft Edge is the default and built-in web browser in Windows 10 operating system. If you use Microsoft Edge browser, you can use its built-in feature to pin your favorite websites to Windows 10 Taskbar or Start Menu.
To pin a website to Taskbar or Start Menu, you just need to follow some simple steps given below:
1. Open your favorite website in Microsoft Edge browser.
2. Now click on 3-dots (…) menu and select any of following options:
- To pin the website to Taskbar – select “Pin this page to the taskbar” option
- To pin the website to Start Menu – select “Pin this page to Start” option
3. That’s it. It’ll immediately pin the website shortcut to Taskbar or Start Menu as selected by you. You can pin multiple websites using the same method.

When you pin a website to Taskbar or Start Menu, the website’s favicon is used as shortcut icon on Taskbar and Start Menu.
Now whenever you need to visit your favorite website, just click on its pinned shortcut and it’ll open the website in Microsoft Edge web browser.
PS: In future if you want to delete the pinned website from Taskbar or Start Menu, right-click on the pinned item and select Unpin option from the context menu.
