  1. Newest pixel 7 here with latest version of chrome browser and it doesn’t show the toolbar option under the homepage setting. Guess Ill need to hunt to see if it’s available

  2. I’ve got the same problem with my Pixel 7 pro, it doesn’t show the toolbar option in settings.

My pixel 2 has it tho :/

  3. For those who the button isn’t there at all – go to chrome flags and enable adaptive button in top toolbar

  4. There is no way to get rid of the new tab icon, which looks like a plus sign, in my tablet. I don’t want to replace it — i want the whole entire toolbar short-cut thing GONE. When i turn off the switch, the new tab icon is STILL at the top of the screen. It won’t go away.

How do i get rid of this whole entire annoyance for good?
