[Tip] How to Disable Ads on New Tab Page in Mozilla Firefox

Following steps will help you in disabling ads on New Tab page in Mozilla Firefox web browser:

1. Launch Mozilla Firefox browser or open a new tab by clicking on New Tab (+) button or by pressing Ctrl+T keys together.

2. Now click on the small cogwheel icon present at the top-right corner of New Tab page. Its tool-tip shows “Customize your New Tab page” message.

3. It’ll open Firefox Options (about:preferences) page with Home tab activated.

Now uncheck or disable “Snippets” option given on the page.

That’s it. It’ll immediately remove all kind of ads, suggestions and tips from New Tab page.
