Lucid Mode is a CSS sharpening filter applied to video and image elements on webpages. On most systems the filters are GPU accelerated. This new video sharpening feature helps make your streaming experience more enjoyable. No more pixelated faces or blurry images. The feature is available for all videos websites such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc and can be enabled with a single click on the floating/overlay button. When activated, Lucid Mode adds more sharpness and clarity to the content. It’s also available for images and can be activated in the Easy Setup and opera://settings. You will also be able to change this setting in-context while watching a video. A button has been added next to the video pop-out button which serves to change the global Lucid Mode for Videos setting.

Lucid Mode might become useful and interesting for users who visit videos websites frequently. It adds extra layer of sharpness and color enhancements to all videos as well as images and tries to improve the video watching experience better.
