With the help of the trick given in this article, you’ll be able to move the main toolbar to bottom in Chrome. This hidden secret feature is called “Chrome Duet” or “Split Toolbar“. Previously it was known as Chrome Duplex and Chrome Home but later it was renamed to Chrome Duet.

Once you apply this cool trick, it’ll move the standard toolbar and all buttons to bottom in Chrome as shown in following screenshot:

  1. This hidden secret works perfectly on my mobile phone with Android 8.0 but on my tablet which also has Android 8.0 it will not work. Neither will the tab switcher. I have downloaded latest update to Chrome but still won’t work. Any suggestions VG?

  2. How do I get all 5 icons (Home, Share, Search, Tab, More) of the google chrome search bar to permanently move to the bottom of my android phone screen. After a recent update, only 3 (Home, Search, Share) will go to and stay at the bottom of the screen. My device is a Pixel 3XL. System and all apps. are current in there updates. Please help if you can or let me know if this is only temporary and if Google is trying to fix it. Thank you and have a great day.
