New Neko (Cat) Easter Egg Discovered in Google Search

Here is a new cool Easter egg discovered in Google Search website. This new Easter egg is called “Neko” and features a cat paw and meow sound in a cute way.

If you also want to enjoy this cool Easter egg in your web browser, here are the required steps:

1. Open Google.com website in your web browser.

2. Type Neko in Google search box and press Enter.

OR

You can directly search for Neko using the built-in Search box or address bar present in your web browser.

3. Once the search page for Neko opens, you’ll notice a little animation near the Cat (Animal) information section present on the right-side of the search page. A small cat paw will hover and press an Orange color button randomly.

4. To reveal the Easter egg, you need to click on the animation image i.e. cat paw over the orange button.

Once you click the image, a cute “Meow” sound will be played and a large cat paw will appear on your computer screen.

Now you can start playing with the Easter egg. Click anywhere inside the search page and the cat paw with meow sound will appear.

PS: Try clicking on the same place many times and several cat paws will appear on your computer screen.

5. To end playing the Easter egg, you can click on the Close (X) button given at the bottom of the search page. You can also close the tab or refresh the page to end the Easter egg. As soon as you click on Close button, a cool water animation is played on the screen with tap sound.

Google also allows users to share this cool Easter egg. Click on the Share icon given next to the Close button and you’ll get a link to share with friends. You can also share the Easter egg on socialĀ  networking websites using the direct links of Facebook, Twitter given on the Share dialog box.

  1. The easter egg also works if you type in “Cat” in the search box. There’s “Dog” too ! There will be barking sounds and dog paws instead.
