  1. Greeting Vishal
I have Office 2013 MSDN iso. How to integrate this update to my .iso (without extracting)?

  2. My Office 2013 SP1 update size was ~850MB.
Then, it filled my partition with 3 GB additionally after I have installed it.

  3. ^^ It might be due to backup files.

    @qmlg
You’ll need to extract the files and put them in Updates folder of Office setup as usual.

  4. Thanks Mr.VG, this link makes me more easier to download manually rather than using windows update itself (slow). Due to my Celcom broadband internet connection.

  5. I have noticed that, at windows update alert show “Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB2850036) 32-Bit Edition: 504.68MB.”

and the link provide “Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB2817430) 32-Bit Edition: 643.58MB.”

Mr.VG, my question is if i have download the (KB2817430) and installed into my system. There’s any problem?. because at my windows update prefer me to download the (KB2850036).

    TQ!.

  6. Thank you for the help VG.

Unfortunately, the methods you specified do not apply on my system. Everything is clean/empty, as I have already performed numerous checks with the cleaning tool and CCleaner.

Many people are complaining about the space used after the installation of SP1.
    Mine is ~3GB.

  7. ^^ Go to C:\MSOCache folder and you can remove its content to clear Office setup cache. It’ll be hidden and system folder. You can directly launch it using RUN dialog box.

Keep in mind that removing this folder may cause problems in uninstalling Office in future.

  8. I just donloaded and tried to install the Service Pack 1 but didn’t make it. I may know why I didn’t. After the last Windows 7 reinstall, I’ve noticed that some updates can’t install: first 3, then 5, and now 7. Believe me, I did all the things Microsoft said about this issue, but nothing happened. The (now) 7 updates still cannot install. I donwloaded the Service Pack 1 hoping that it might overright the problem, so that I could enjoy the benefits of the MS updates. But, as I told you, it was a failure. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this annoying problem?

  9. @VG,
Gotta give an update on the situation.
Dunno how, but those 3GB I mentioned before, just went away.
Dunno how, because I did not delete anything or do anything.
    Weird.

  10. – Do you need Office 2013 installed? Or does it install Office 2013?

    Thanks in Advance,

  14. ^^ It might be possible that some pre-requisite updates for Office SP1 have not been installed in your system. Run Windows Update and make sure all Office updates have been installed.

  15. Why Office 2013 starts to update automatically after 2-3 days even if I disabled the option to update Office automatically after its installation? Is there any way to disable Office updates except microsoft updates in windows updates?
    Before Office 2013 installation
Remaining updates were 10, size =I57.4 MB
After 2-3 days of office 2013 installation :
    Remaining Updates is 60, size = 2,335MB= 2.34GB + Automatically Downloading.

    Limited bandwith
    Please Help
    Thanks in Advance

I’ve just downloaded offline setup of ms office 2013 and in order to install add-ins, sp1 is required which is further of approx. 700mb………..which is such a large file……….isn’t there any other way to update??

  17. What a non-genuine license of office 2013 shall be blocked after Windows 10 activation?
