  1. Until at least the option for for local archive support is added back they can add all the tabs they want to this thing and I’ll stay on version 10. I understand the chat history is on their server as well but the new layout for searching is painful beyond the point of usefulness.

Good job with that Romanian version though. God knows we’ve all be screaming for that for years. /sarcasm

  2. I cannot add contacts to Yahoo Messenger. It’s the first time I’ve tried since downloading Windows 8.1 last year. I need to add work contacts to the IM feature. I have performed every “fix” listed on the Yahoo Messenger help site (uninstall/reinstall, clearing cache, resetting LAN settings, resetting Internet Explorer settings–although this had to be done through the Yahoo version of Firefox instead, as there is no IE for Yahoo for Windows 8.1). Nothing works. I continue to receive a message stating it took too long, it might have worked, and check my list later. This has been going on for days. I’m assuming several days is “later” enough to see if it worked. I do not want to simply add folks to my Yahoo mail contacts. You cannot see availability and online status through this route. Someone else added me from their end, I accepted, and they do not show up on my list either, although I seem to show up on theirs. It’s not that I have too many contacts either. I have a whopping 31. This means according to Yahoo’s web site, I should still be able to add up to 9969 more. I only need to add 22. Will there be anything to fix this issue for Windows 8.1 with regards to Yahoo Messenger?

  3. Well, Yahoo Messenger is almost an old software. I believe its last version released on May 25, 2012. So those bugs seams to be normal with the latest operating systems. Sorry about that.
