First of all download the login screen using following link:

STEP 2:

After downloading the file, extract it using 7-Zip or WinRAR software and you’ll get following folders inside it:

  • x64 (64-bit) files changeable
  • x64 (64-bit) files default
  • x86 (32-bit) files changeable
  • x86 (32-bit) files default

If you are using Windows 7 32-bit (x86) edition, you’ll need to use following 2 folders:

  • x86 (32-bit) files changeable
  • x86 (32-bit) files default

Similarly if you are using Windows 7 64-bit (x64) edition, you’ll need to use following 2 folders:

  • x64 (64-bit) files changeable
  • x64 (64-bit) files default

STEP 3:

Now you might be confused between 2 folder names: files changeable and files default.

Actually this login screen has been created in 2 versions:

Files Changeable: In which the user picture will be changed automatically on login screen based on the current user picture. So you can change user picture on login screen by changing your user account picture in Control Panel. But it may cause loss of quality in user picture as it’ll be zoomed to fit he user picture area of login screen.

Files Default: In this login screen, the user picture will never change. It’ll always remain same irrespective of what user account picture do you select. It has been created to mimic Windows 10 login screen perfectly.

So you can decide which version of login screen do you want to use and then open that folder.

STEP 4:

Inside all 4 folders, you’ll find following 2 files:

  • authui.dll
  • basebrd.dll

These 2 files contain required login screen resources. You’ll need to replace existing dll files in your Windows with these new dll files.

If you don’t know where and how to change these DLL file, please follow the steps given in following tutorial:
