PS: New Outlook app for Windows is a PWA (Progressive Web App) which is a web-powered version of the app. On the other hand, the Outlook app for Mac is a native macOS app. Outlook for Windows app uses the built-in msedgewebview2.exe (Microsoft Edge Web View) platform. You can find Outlook’s executable with the name “olk.exe” inside “C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\microsoft.outlookforwindows_1.2023.920.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe” folder in File Explorer. I noticed that the new Outlook app also utilizes “xpdAgent.exe” service regularly in background.
