  1. So I am peacefully using my computer, enjoying it set up the way I like with zero MS intrusions, and along comes an update that puts some cr** widget on my lock screen. Now I have to search to find why it is there and how to get rid of it. If I want cr** on my lock screen I will install it myself!!

  2. @irritated user
This is how I look at Win 11
Despite all my settings in Gpedit, I’v got the pro version for this reason
They installed a Insider Version of Win 11
It’s almost two months later now and I’m still repairing all of my basic setting, I did not lose any data or files, but I’m on this Site ASKVG for years now after 9 years of tweaking I had a beautiful running Win 10 Pro. Luckily if have a ton of Bookmarks with all tweaks .
Still I am not happy at all
PS my laptop is almost fully compatible with Win 11, Except for Acer who are not making drivers for Win 11.
Best regards to VG and keep the work rolling

  3. THANK YOU!
I’m not a fan of these intrusive updates/additions forced on us “by default”.

  4. Thanks for the quick fix. What a useless widget – it’s displaying weather for a location 1,000 miles from where I am located.

  5. Its so irritating to find some new unwanted feature added with no introduction from Microsoft and worse, no given option to enable IF required.

  6. thank you so much, i just started getting these apps showing up randomly after a year and had no idea where to find the settings for it.

  7. Thank you for the clear instruction to remove these irritating default changes by Microsoft.👍

  8. thank you for this, it really helps, i appreciate it, i really don’t like these microsoft update forcing things into our system. windows 11 is already bad enough, i wonder what the tech team in microsoft are thinking.
