[CCleaner Tip] Restore Classic Cleaning Results Screen Containing Full Files List
CCleaner is a very popular and widely used system cleaning and optimization tool for Windows operating system. Many Windows users use this freeware to delete temporary files from their systems to get free disk space and to optimize their computers. This free tool also helps in improving the privacy by removing traces of users online activities such as web browser history, cookies, cache, etc.
CCleaner supports almost all Windows versions and all web browsers whether its the built-in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge or 3rd party browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.
If you are using CCleaner since long time, you might be familiar with its cleaning result screen which shows a complete list of all files which are going to be removed from your computer by CCleaner. In CCleaner, when you select the items which you want to clean using CCleaner and click on “Analyze” button, it shows the cleaning result screen containing complete files list as shown in following screenshot:

Now in newer CCleaner versions, the cleaning result screen has been changed. The new improved result screen shows a summary like screen which has been designed for less technical users. It doesn’t show files list any more. You need to double-click on each entry to check the files list under it.
If you think previous single result screen was better and more useful, you can restore the previous classic cleaning results screen in newer CCleaner versions by changing a built-in preference.
CCleaner comes with a new option under its settings to enable/disable the new result screen. You can select whether you want to get the new summary screen or classic full files list screen.
If you are also using CCleaner and want to get the old style cleaning result screen back, following steps will help you:
1. Open CCleaner and click on Options tab.
