That's not a good news from Yahoo!. They have discontinued the development of their special version of Yahoo! messenger for Windows Vista. This special version was developed only for Windows Vista and was based on Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
Now it'll no longer be available for download. But you can still downloads it using following direct URL:

They have not removed it from their server, so you can still download it and test it.
They'll keep continue developing their default Yahoo! messenger which is available for all Windows versions. The latest version is 9.0 and you can download it from following link:

Same here. Never quite liked Y!M for some reason. Prefer WLM. But Yahoo Messenger for Vista was starting to interest me with its good WPF implementation.
