Dear Vishal,

It is not only useful but presented in a way where most if not all the angles are approached. You provide people with a link to download the service pack and also a link to the microsoft recommendations on what how and when to do it. Which in tuen helped me clear up a problem i had that would have prevented me from receiveing this important update. I had no clue that an error while installing an update i did not need was preventing me from receiving SP1. with that fixed i am not about to install it and see how it goes :???:

Dear Vishal,

 I just read the page you titled "Things to know before you download Windows SP1" and saw that it said if i am a single pc user that i should wait for the Windows Automatic update. well i opened my automatic update and saw that i still had a XML core services SP4 update that refused to install due to an error. I then googles and found microsoft support help that said to open the cmd window and enter
ren %windir%\System32\msxml4.dll msxml4.old then exit and visit <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=021e12f5-cb46-43df-a2b8-185639ba2807" rel="nofollow">this</a> page to download the update manually,
i went back to my update window and saw SP1 for Vista waiting for me
I just want to thank you for always being on top of things and offering information left out by so many others. you constantly show why you are a valued member of the microsoft community and as i said before I am glad you are around
