Recently Microsoft and Dell joined to manufacture PRODUCT (RED) PC containing Windows Vista Ultimate. It was done to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.

When you buy a Dell (PRODUCT) RED PC with Windows Vista Ultimate (PRODUCT) RED, Windows and Dell will jointly contribute $50 to $80, depending on the product, to The Global Fund.

The special thing in this PC is the new customization stuffs. It contains:

6 New Wallpapers
1 New Dreamscene Video
1 New Screensaver
2 New Sidebar gadgets
1 New Red Theme

Windows Vista PRODUCT (RED) Suite

Put the Screensaver in "%windir%\System32" folder and Theme in "%windir%\Resources\Themes" folder. You can install the sidebar gadgets by double-clicking on them. Wallpapers and dreamscene video can be applied by using context menu options.

^^ "%windir%" is a pointer to "Windows" folder. So "C:\Windows" and "%windir%" means same if Windows is installed in C: drive.

Yes you are suppose to see it in a Dell XPS because it is the only type of computer that comes along with (vista)red a partnership of Dell and Microsoft as support to (Product) Red

Dude external software for what? you place the file in the extracted Them folder into %systemroot%\resources\Themes then you open themes from personalize and from the drop-down list choose RED.

hey.i downloaded a zip of windows Vistas "themes" and also i unzipped it! but i dunno how to install on my laptop..becoz it had many files n folders inside that zip..so m confuse..plzz help me! plzz tell me how to put themes n icons?

^^ Look into a folder which contains .msstyles file. Copy that folder to "Windows\Resources\Themes" folder and then you should be able to apply the theme.

Also make sure you have patched the system with VistaGlazz. Use the correct version of VistaGlazz.

i have the theme when i go to personalise and it says red but i apply it and it does nothing.... nothing changes and ive done what is said to do
