Yes, you can either download it by itself, or download windows essentials- (which includes movie maker, photo gallery, one drive, live writer, live mail) on the Microsoft website. Just google windows essentials.

Is there a patch to fix movie maker. My operating system is Windows 8.1 and I have windows essentials 2012 installed. Every time I try to use movie maker it comes back with a message that movie maker has stopped working then shuts down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled windows essentials, but this does not fix the problem. If there is no fix, can you recommend a free download for a movie maker that will work without any hassles.

Welcome 🙂
We bought a Windows 8.1 on our new computer several years ago. I made and burned to disks several “movies”. when we updated to Windows 10, I can no longer burn to disks. What do I need to do and what is the cost of this program which we bought and we enjoyed and why do I need to buy it again?
