A very interesting feature has been revealed in Windows 8. Windows 8 will come with a new feature "Portable Workspace" which allows you to run Windows from a USB storage device.
To use this feature, you'll need Windows 8 Enterprise Edition setup files and a USB storage device with at least 16GB of space.

Looks a good feature. What do you think?
Thanks to Winrumors for sharing the info...

Sounds good in theory what USB memory sticks have a limited read/write cycles so surely this would quickly destroy your favourite USB stick. This would have been good I'm W7 aswell trust MS to not think about that lol

Does this feature install a Win8-LiveSystem or a real fully-working version of Win8 where all changes will be saved?

Sounds more reliable than using the cloud for the same feature... Though it is true that the limited read/write cycles could be trouble.
