A new revamped Task Manager has been revealed in Windows 8 leaked build.
Following screenshot shows the new "Advanced and Modern Task Manager" in action:

The above screenshot clearly shows that Microsoft is working really hard in improving existing Windows 7 features.
The new Task Manager shows detailed information about running processes, services and system resources. It's a little bit buggy atm which is obvious as the leaked build is just a milestone build.
Its really impressive to see such kind of improvements and new interesting features addition in Windows 8. Good going MS...

Now that's a welcome change to the age old task manager. I just really hope that Windows 8 is something drastically different from the looks of Windows 7, otherwise it would be looked upon as just an improved version of Windows 7. Just as some look at Windows 7 as just an improved version of Vista.

WOAH... This task manager really is modern. But better programs consume more memory and increase processor work load.

It's probably data hungry.
I won't buy Windows 8.

Looks great.
But, why the hell would Microsoft put " 'Modern' Windows Task Manager " in the title bar?
Looks a bit fishy to me.

It's a good move they should also reinvent the Device Manager and the registry.

@Felipe: Yes that's true, and I also don't really like the idea of 3 different task managers.
However it is something that I'm looking forward to, and it is a very welcome change. This is an OS that I'm looking forward to, except for the name.

Dear VG, i have just tested Windows 8 Milestone 1 Build 7850, and i can assure AskVG Readers that their isn't any harmful file in it, and also it is the same as Windows 7. so its better to wait for Microsoft to release the official Beta.
Best Regards,

Hey, there won't be 3 different task managers. They are just trying to make a good one now, that's why they've got three.
But what was wrong with the old one? I think the Kill Process is my favourite feature of Windows.
