Windows 7 Public Beta Released, Direct Download Links Inside

We told you yesterday that Microsoft is going to release public beta of Windows 7 on 9th January and now its available for download.

You can download your FREE copy from following link:

Scroll down to bottom and you'll find drop-down boxes to select your language to download Windows 7 beta.

Remember its available for a limited time only, so grab your copy as fast as you can. Also the download is available in ISO format, so you'll need to burn the image. You can upgrade to Windows 7 Beta from Vista SP1.

Minimum system requirements to install Windows 7:

1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor
1 GB of system memory
16 GB of available disk space
Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory (to enable the Aero theme)
DVD-R/W Drive

Hi. I'm installing this on my VPC2007. I am SOOO glad that this beta is finally out. I don't remember, how for did Longhorn get before it got scrapped? I mean with the theme and the awesome looking features. Also, Microsoft linked me to download this new download manager, and it's speeding through the DL. Been downloading for 10 minutes, and at 17% already

Can you tell me how to multiboot Vista and 7 and also i have a littl explorer problem in my Vista when i click start then right click computer and press Manege
the window pops up like normal but when i close it explorer crash and when i plug in my usb harddisk explorer start to crash constantly sometimes

Hi Nikolaj. Don't multiboot it with Vista. Install it in a Virtual Machine so that none of the glitches that are inevitable, as it IS a beta, don't screw up your Vista.

TIP: Install overnight so that you are asleep as it installs for numerous hours. Be sure to plug in your computer if it's a notebook.

hey vg.plz help me.i hv downloaded the iso file, i burn the iso by nero to an dvd and then try to install windows7 by this dvd through booting,bt it shows after "starting windows", that system32 'hall file' is missing or corrupted.and its shows in windows boot manager.how can i install it and what is the solution.plz help me.

^^ its not burned properly burn at a slow speed or burn it again using imgburn software or mount the iso through usb method...
