The computers in our educational system disallows cmd and traversing to C:/, and bans you from storing or transferring .exe files or .bat files within the system and from an external source (e.g. flash disk) - instant ban

What I have found for running system commands is that you can go to the desktop, right click and add new shortcut. There you can type, for example ping askvg.com and call it ping or whatever. The thing is, when you double-click it, it actually runs the command in a command shell.

Anyone can change their own wallpaper, it's just whether or not the admin disables the Control Panel applet that we usually use. (Display Properties).

For example, a folder containing only pictures has a "Set as desktop background" entry in the left-hand pane in Explorer. That works.

I guess one way to check out the system's stuff is to use SmartUp or ViStart.

One thing I did after some uber-geeks including me were grilled by higher staff because of alleged unauthorized software installations, I quickly showed taht someone out of the group was installing Safari and iTunes with ViStart's All Programs capability.

And task Manager should be blocked, but this can be copied from another computer onto USB. That may assist in do what Nikolaj wants to do.

Nikolaj, do it at, home and follow those instructions! It's not in All Programs, it should be copied from the C:\Program Files folder.

I have the file available for download as a .ZIP file for you. Just run the .exe with it. I think it should be coming with some Vishal themes with it.

But unfortuneatly, I'm too lazy and amatuer to learn about MediaFire and Rapidshare, so I think the best option would be to install Styler to a folder at home and then just copy and paste the folder in Program files to a USB, then uninstall (but keep the USB away from it).
