Another funny bug in Windows 7:
1. Click on Start ORB and make sure that startmenu contains at least one program shortcut in left side pane which is expandable (look at the small black arrow) like following screenshot:
2. Now expand the program shortcut by clicking on the arrow or by hovering the mouse cursor over it:
3. Once the Tasks list is shown, hover your mouse cursor on any other program shortcut so that the Tasks list gets disappeared:
4. Now the bug will appear. As you can see in the screenshot, the user picture will disappear from the top of start menu. Even you hover your cursor over any item present in right-side pane, the user pic will not appear:
If you exit from start menu and re-open it, the user pic will appear again.

ya 7000 here too x32 and it seems to reappear without issue.

I tested it in the 7000 build that was leaked to torrents earlier and it didn't work for me.

this bug does not apeared in my case.but the user pic disapeared for a fraction of a second only.........(when i tried it for first time also)

This bug appears sometimes when i use the jump lists and i kinda found out about it the 1st time i installed windows 7 beta build 7000. There are more bugs on the start menu if Aero is turned off such as the start menu turning black.

I have had the same bug. While it is beta software and they are finding lots of bugs. I also had a bug with Snipping Tool after taking 3 screen shots it would crash. There is also a bug when your network is more than 15 characters.

Here I think i found.. one. Just open a media folder say a folder with Mp3 files.. Just select a file and it shows all the details of that song on the details pane.. Now u gotta click anywhere outside the explorer or click on the Desktop, Now starts the fun.. Just click the minimize button of the folder with Mp3 files and again restore it. All you can see is the Mp3 file u selected is still selected as usually but the unusual thing is You wont find the details of that file on the details pane anymore.
Just try this and tell me if u have the same issue or bug whatever.

I have told you earlier that it hadn't happened.But I can find the Bug on my computer as well. Further
Pressing the win+space key doesn't do anything,it was working few days earlier.

Windows 7 missing shortcut dialog box have no animation on its right side.There is just a free space.Someone do check this on windows 7 build 7000.It's there on my computer.
