Windows 7 Beta Available to TechNet and MSDN Subscribers, Public Release on 9th January

Microsoft has released Windows 7 Beta to TechNet and MSDN subscribers. Its also available on MS Connect. Just log into your account and download it:

The "Update for Windows 7 Beta (KB961367)" is an official update for Windows 7 Beta users to fix the MP3 corruption bug.

If you are not a subscriber, don't worry. The public beta will be released tomorrow 9th January 2009. So just wait for a few hours and you'll be able to download it absolutely free from Windows 7 official website:

The public beta will be available for a limited time only, so grab your copy as fast as you can whenever it becomes available to download.

The download would be available in ISO format, so you'll need to burn the image.

You can upgrade to Windows 7 Beta from Vista SP1.

    i dont think that it will be a good idea to install it in Virtual PC because i had vista in VPC sometime ago and it run so slow that it was useless
