VLC (initially VideoLAN Client) is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, Ogg, OGM, MOV, wma, wmv...) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. It can also be used as a server to stream in unicast or multicast in IPv4 or IPv6 on a high-bandwidth network.

  1. I can't open .rmvb (real media) files in VLC ... is there any way to watch this file in VLC ?

  2. Some formats may give problems in VLC. Best way is install "K-Lite codec Pack" and enjoy every format in WMP or Media Player Classic. You can find it in "Media Players" section. :)

Thank you for this great software. I am going to recommend this to my site visitors in my blog. It has greatly simplified our daily work with media.
