Its an update over previous VistaVG RTM theme.
This theme has been made for Windows XP users who want to have "Windows Vista" look in their Windows. This theme can make your Windows XP look like Windows Vista.

FIX:
1. Chevron BUG fixed.
2. Startmenu image BUG fixed.
And a few other BUGs fixed...
NEW:
1. A new style "Black" has been added to the theme after a lot of demand for black titlebar.
2. A separate theme for Startmenu Searchbar lovers. It shows the Vista searchbar in Start menu but its fake. You need "LSPatch" to use it.
And more...
UPDATE:
1. Titlebar Text is shown in Left now.
2. Common Tasks are also shown in Left but an extra "shellstyle.dll" file is included for bottom common tasks.
3. Aero style for 32x icon size is default now.
4. Lots of new Vista images, like "All Programs" arrow, Explorer arrows, Startmenu images, Logoff/Shutdown images, etc.
5. A few colors changed.
And lots of other small updates...
HOW TO USE:
1. Extract the contents and you'll get a folder.
2. In this folder, you'll get 4 more folders:
=> Bottom Common Tasks (This folder contains "shellstyle.dll" file for showing common tasks in explorer at bottom.)
=> Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Copy them to "%windir%\Fonts" folder.)
=> Styler Toolbar (This folder contains Style toolbar for explorer. To know more about Styler and how to use it, visit following link:
How to Install and Apply Styler Toolbar Skin in Windows XP Explorer?
=> Theme (This folder contains the main theme.)
3. Copy all contents in "Theme" folder to "%windir%\Resources\Themes\" folder.
4. Now you can set the theme using Desktop Properties.
5. Also make sure you have patched the "uxtheme.dll" file to allow 3rd party visual styles, if its not patched, then download and run the UXtheme Patcher from here:
For XP SP3 Users - Download UXTheme Patcher
For XP SP2 Users - Download UXTheme Patcher
NOTE: Avira anti-virus might show a virus alert in the pack which is a false positive alert. Actually it prompts about "LSPatch.exe" file which is included in the pack. LSPatch.exe doesn’t contain any virus. It modifies the "Explorer.exe" file which is a system file. That’s why Avira detects a CloseApp riskware in the file. No other anti-virus detect any suspicious item in the pack. So you can safely ignore the alert.

Hi VG, just to note that FANTASTIC work you've done!
Two questions
1. i still cannot see the startmenu image
2. how to make that percentile bar under the disk icon? After applying the bottom common tasks, i gotta right-click and choose "properties" to check out how much space left...so that bar may be a good alternative
THX!
VG
^^ Thanks.
1. Have you enabled Welcome screen or using Classic login box? Make sure "use Welcome Screen" option is checked in User Accounts applet in Control panel.
2. Pls visit "Transform XP into Vista" tutorial in "Windows XP" section.
Steven
see, certain embeded chip blocks me from Welcome Screen, no wonder
i'll check that tutorial, thx
searching for search
So far, I'm loving your work. This is wonderful.
I downloaded the real search theme, yet I am unable to use the search function in the start menu. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
VG
^^ Its fake. You can't make it working.

VG
Goto "%windir%\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Ultimate\Shell" folder and you'll see following folders:
Just copy "shellstyle.dll" file from "Bottom Common Tasks" folder to the above mentioned folders.
