Here is an Icon Pack for Windows XP, which will change XP default icons with Windows Vista icons. So you’ll experience the high-resolution Vista icons in XP.
How To Use:
1. Download the RAR file and then extract it.
2. You’ll get a folder containing the icon pack files.
3. Download “Stardock Icon Packager” from here:
4. Now open the “VistaVG.iconpackage” in Icon Packager and apply it.
Note:
If you want to make your Windows XP look-a-like Windows Vista, then follow this link:

Hi, can you build a system patch to replace xp icons with vista icons without icon packager or any other thing.
Or can you tell me what script is used by vistamizer or VTP.
Thanks!

file was corrupted when i was extracted VistaVG_Icon.rar

^^ Sorry but the file is absolutely fine. I have tried it many times and it always downloaded properly. Even no other person faced any problem.
I think there is some problem in your Download Manager. Which download manager are you using? May be its causing this problem.

Hey Vishal, great work on the Vista themes for XP.
I have one more question I would like to pick your brains about.
After I apply the theme (any Vista-ize theme for that matter), the desktop icons still have their XP characteristics. By this I mean that the background color of the Icon label carries over to be the “Desktop -> Color” setting from the Display Properties. I like the look of Vista where the Icon labels appear just as text on top of the Wallpaper, instead of XP’s style of placing the label text on top of a “Desktop color”.
Any ideas on how I can change this to make the Vista-ized XP desktop icons (and their labels) look like that of Vista?

The icon text background problem has been covered in our “Frequently Asked Problems” topic. Please use solution of Point 20 in following link:

Thanks Vishal. One more follow up question, If I may.
I found that Rocket Dock is too prone to crashing on my laptop when I have the Vista skins installed. I am trying to hide the desktop icons, and the task bar, and just use a dock instead.
Is there a way to completely replace the task bar in XP? As in just using the Rocket Dock or some such in place of the task bar, without losing much of the functionality? (e.g. applications windows minimize to task bar, apps minimized to system tray, etc.)
Please advise. Thanks.

Man you are a freaking brillant. Everything you have made seems to be amazing. I’m using your theme and now your icons. Amazing. I was changing folder icons by customization but that was taking far far to long to do. THX
