I have a preference to have the desktop default colr to black, not what color you have it set to for the theme, as I place custome images on my desktop. Once I change this, every time I reboot, it defaults back to your original color mathing the theme tone... How can I change? This is great stuff you have, I love it...!!! So first make sure you use the correct versions mentioned in the above topic. Then run it in Safe mode and restart your system in normal mode. If Windows shows any dialog box saying it needs setup CD to restore file, click on No or ignore button (which ever is present) and that's it. Now you can copy the theme to Themes folder and apply it. ^^ There are 2 UXTheme Patcher versions: 1 for XP SP2 and the other for XP SP3.
