HOW TO USE:
1. In the downloaded pack, you'll get 2 folders:
=> Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Copy them to "%windir%\Fonts" folder.)
=> Theme (This folder contains the main theme.)
2. Copy all contents in "Theme" folder to "%windir%\Resources\Themes\" folder.
3. Now you can set the theme using Desktop Properties.
4. Also make sure you have patched the "uxtheme.dll" file to allow 3rd party visual styles, if its not patched, then download and run the UXtheme Patcher from here:
For XP SP3 Users - Download UXTheme Patcher
For XP SP2 Users - Download UXTheme Patcher

“%windir%\Resources\Themes\”? is it a folder where the theme is saved?
markhy
where will i find this location? %windir%\Resources\Themes\...
VG
^^ %windir% means your Windows folder which can be found in your system drive like C:\Windows
Just type %windir%\Resources\Themes\ in My Computer addressbar and press Enter.

hello mr vg.. i already installed all the necessary files and i copied ur theme on the location u tell me.. but ther's a big problem here the theme was not the same in like yours.... it is color gray.....its not a 3d one......its just plain nd ordinary...another problem is that ..i cannot load internet explorer or firefox i think the uxtheme blocked the browsers....because when i click debug button i saw the uxtheme in the error box...maybe uxtheme is one of the cause of the browsers error....

^^ Seems like you have really messed up with UXtheme file. I'll suggest you to repair the Windows. Give following command in Command Prompt:
sfc /scannow
It'll repair your Windows and will restore the corrupt uxtheme.dll file.

Hi VG
Thanks for the prompt reply. Still not working sadly. I used 6.0.2900.3244_EN.rar as the patch my SP3 build is v3311. when I click on VistaVG.msstyles in the Themes folder I get the Display Properties box up but not the Theme or its availability. Where have I gone wrong?
Thanks
Rick
VG
^^ Since your version is different, it'll not work for you. You can try Tuneup Utilities to apply the theme.
